We believe that exceptional veterinary care should extend beyond our hospital doors. That’s why we’re proud to partner with dedicated rescue organizations throughout the Bay Area who share our commitment to transforming animals’ lives. These partnerships reflect our core belief that every animal deserves world-class medical care, regardless of their journey.
Our rescue partners work tirelessly to give abandoned, neglected, and surrendered pets a second chance at finding loving homes. We support their mission by providing veterinary services, from initial health assessments and emergency interventions to specialized surgeries and ongoing preventative care. Together, we ensure that rescue animals receive the same level of care and attention that we provide to every patient who walks through our doors.
This collaboration also goes beyond medicine, as we share knowledge, resources, and a unified vision: that no animal should go without the care they need. Our team takes pride in being a trusted veterinary resource for these organizations, helping them save more lives and prepare more pets for their forever families. We are honored to work alongside the passionate individuals who make second chances possible.
Spotlight On: Our Rescue Partners
The Kern Project
Born from a deep compassion for the forgotten animals of Kern County, CA, The Kern Project is on a mission to save homeless dogs and cats who have been left behind. Their dedicated team searches fields, parks, and remote areas where animals have been heartlessly abandoned, giving these vulnerable souls a second chance at life. Each rescue receives the medical care, safe boarding, and loving transportation they need to reach the Bay Area, where new families are waiting with open arms. The Kern Project finds homes where these once-forgotten animals are reclaimed as beloved family members. Their commitment extends throughout the community, offering free spay/neuter services to prevent future heartbreak and ensure every pet has the chance to live a healthy, wanted life.
Love’s Legacy Rescue
An incredible rescue founded by NorCal native Amanda Davis, who started with a longtime passion for humane justice and treatment of pets. In 2018, when the Northern California fires occurred, she created the @norcalwildfirelostandfoundpets account to reunite lost and found pets affected by the disasters. Her English bulldog, Love, served as the inspiration for the foundation after Amanda faced repeated heartbreak watching her dog battle undiagnosed illnesses, frequent pneumonia, and infections, ultimately passing away after a partial lung removal. Inspired by her fight to save Love, Amanda founded Love’s Legacy Rescue to give shelter dogs the same chance at life that she fought so hard to give her beloved companion.
